Hello! You have reached Mrs. Huberman's website. I have been teaching here at Central Catholic High School for 7 years. I am involved with the Concert Band, Pep Band, Musical Pit, and I also teach band at Holy Trinity Jr. High,Holy Trinity Elementary, and Epiphany. I hope to see you pass through one of my classes at some point of your time here at Central Catholic.
Here at Central Catholic High School we offer several instrumental opportunities:
*Concert Band: This is the core group for all instrumental musicians at Central Catholic High School. This group rehearses Monday through Friday during homeroom. In addition to performing at all school concerts, this group also participates in various festivals and in the music department trip.
*Jazz Band 1: Jazz Band 1 is dedicated to the performing of many different styles of jazz music. This group meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:10am. Jazz Band 1 performs at all school concerts, various festivals, the annual Jazz Jam and the music department trip.
*Pep Band: The Pep Band is made up of all of the Concert Band members. This group helps to cheer on our Saints at all the home Football and Basketball games. Whether playing the school song or belting out Mustang Sally, this group is a real croud favorite.
*Jazz Combo: The jazz combo is a small group of approximately 5-8 musicians. This group focuses mainly on advanced improvisation. The combo meets on Tuesdays at 4:00pm. We have the priviledge of performing at many functions around town and at school.
